The designer of this gorgeous Bichon Easter Egg is Lynnelily.  This is a one of a kind Bichon Frise spinning music box made from a real swan egg that plays, “Easter Parade.”  This whimsical work of art features a little bichon wearing bunny ears surrounded by bunnies, ducklings and chicks.

Posted On: February 24, 2012

A remix of the ever so popular Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta.   I’ve been cast in the lead role as “Bichon Travolta” and boogieing up the disco dance floor with my beautiful partner.  She’s really showing us some brillant dance moves as the audience cheers us on.  Feel the pulsating music and come dance along with us.

Super Bowl Weekend Fun

Posted On: February 3, 2012

It’s going to be a fun weekend for football fans.  Mom and I are not into football but will join in the fun.  We’ve got food and of course the Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl.  Check out my idea of a fun weekend.

For all the football lovers, it means gathering in front of the TV to watch the game and feasting on some party food. Enjoy!

What's a Super Bowl Party without snacks galore? Check out this ingenious snackadium!

Pizza is always a good party food. Here's a pizza in the shape of a football.

Mustn't forget about the sweets.

Don't forget to watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. We've got a special team this year and we're ready to blitz, tummy tumble and jump to the finish line. Go Team Bichon Go! Oh yeah, we've got a few non bichon type to add some spunk to the team.

The girls are busy cheering us on! Go Team Bichon Go!

Happy Ground DOG Day!

Posted On: February 2, 2012

Today is February 2nd and it is Ground DOG Day.   I woke up this morning around 8 am and dug myself out of my hole and poked my head out the snow and lo and behold, I DID NOT see my shadow.  That means an early Spring for Torontonians!  Mind you, it’s been a very weird winter so far.  On the most part, it’s been mild while Europe is getting hammered with snow and freezing temperatures.  I much prefer peeing on grass than on snow so I’m one happy dog!

Happy Groundhog/Ground DOG Day! We're gonna enjoy an early Spring!

Valentine’s Day Crafts for the Bichon Lovers

Posted On: January 29, 2012

Valentine’s Day is a special day to celebrate our love for one another.   On February 14th, flowers and particularly roses and chocolate are popular items to give to your loved ones but you can also make something.  Mom made these Valentine crafts with a bichon twist.  All the items can be purchased from a craft store or the Dollar Store.  Mom just loves it there because they have all sorts of items and you just have to let your imagination go wild.

Bone chilling temperatures

Posted On: January 3, 2012

Make sure everyone bundles up before heading outside in the freezing cold temperature (humans and canine).  The thermometer says minus 25 degrees Celsius which is equivalent to -13 degrees Fahrenheit.   Beware of frost bite with these conditions!

Bundle up and stay warm or better yet stay inside and snooze the day away!
